Actress and pop singer Brie Larson was born on October 1, 1989 in Sacramento, California. Deciding to pursue an acting career at a young age, she became one of the youngest students at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was nine years old, and proceeded to make occasional television appearances, notably in sketches for The Tonight Show
